Accessibility Statement

What we have actually built for accessibility on this site, and how to reach us if something does not work for you.

We want FlyCentennial.com to work for pilots, tenants, and visitors regardless of ability. This page describes what is actually built into the site rather than making a blanket compliance claim we cannot back up.

What Is Built In

  • An on-page accessibility panel. Every page has an accessibility control (look for the icon in the corner of the screen) that lets you increase text size, switch to a high-contrast color scheme, reduce motion and animation, and switch to a dyslexia-friendlier font. These preferences are saved in your browser so they persist as you move around the site.
  • Semantic structure. Pages use a single, logical heading hierarchy (one H1, ordered H2s and H3s beneath it), real HTML landmarks, and breadcrumb navigation, so screen readers and other assistive technology can move through content in a sensible order rather than a flat wall of unstructured text.
  • Keyboard navigation. Links, buttons, form fields, and the FAQ accordions on this site are built from native, focusable HTML elements with visible focus states, so the site is usable without a mouse.
  • Color contrast. Our color system was built with text-on-background contrast in mind; the high-contrast mode in the accessibility panel pushes this further for anyone who needs it.

What We Are Still Working On

We do not claim full, certified WCAG conformance. Some embedded third-party content - the Google Maps embed on the airport map page, the interactive homepage map, and the Cloudflare Turnstile widget on our forms - is controlled by those providers, not by us, and its accessibility depends on their implementation rather than ours. We review our own pages periodically and fix what we find, but we have not commissioned a full third-party accessibility audit.

Tell Us What Is Not Working

If something on this site is genuinely difficult or impossible to use with assistive technology, that is the most useful bug report we can get. Use the Contact page and describe what happened and what device or software you were using - that specificity is what actually lets us fix it, rather than a general complaint we cannot act on.

Frequently Asked

Is FlyCentennial.com fully WCAG compliant?
We do not claim full certified conformance. We have built real accessibility features (an on-page control panel, semantic structure, keyboard navigation) and keep improving, but have not commissioned a formal third-party audit.
How do I change text size or contrast on the site?
Look for the accessibility control icon present on every page -- it opens a panel with text size, high contrast, reduced motion, and dyslexia-friendly font options that are remembered on your next visit.
What if I find an accessibility problem?
Report it through the Contact page with specifics on what happened and what device/software you were using -- that detail is what lets us actually fix it.
